TX23 Veterans History Project

The Veterans History Project through the Library of Congress collects, preserves and makes accessible the personal accounts of American war veterans so that future generations may hear directly from veterans and better understand their selfless service.

My office is assisting the Veterans History Project from September to the end of October to collect as many pieces of history from TX-23 veterans as possible. We are looking for veterans who want to share their stories and volunteers who would like to interview local veterans in your area. Stories can be told through personal narratives (audio, video interviews, or written memoirs), correspondence (letters, postcards, or diaries), and visual materials (photos, scrapbooks, or drawings).

We will be in the following cities in September collecting narratives from veterans and hope you can help us spread the word!
