'Talent should be recognized'
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Representative Will Hurd issued an invitation to high school students who reside in the 23rd Congressional District of Texas to enter the annual Congressional Art Competition. Every year, Congress holds an art competition to find talented students throughout the country. The winner from each district will have their artwork displayed in the United States Capitol Building for the following year.
“Talent should be recognized and hard work should be rewarded. I’m confident that our district is full of talented young people and I’m looking forward to seeing this year’s works of art,” said Hurd.
