‘Lifting the oil export ban is long overdue’

Bill incentivizes DHS to hire vets at Customs and Border Patrol
Washington, DC—U.S. Representative Will Hurd co-sponsored the Border Jobs for Veterans Act of 2015, which passed the House today with a bipartisan vote. The bill requires the Department of Homeland Security to enhance its efforts to hire veterans as U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers and is a significant win for veterans in South and West Texas.
New ACA definition of “small business†discourages innovation and hiring

Additionally, they make up over 98% of all employers in the state.
