Our District

Colorado’s Third Congressional District covers much of Western and Southern Colorado and is one of the largest congressional districts in the country geographically. Stretching from the Utah border to the San Luis Valley, to the Arkansas River Valley, the district includes mountain towns, agricultural communities, energy-producing regions, Tribal lands, and some of the most iconic landscapes in the American West.

The district is home to world-renowned ski resorts, productive ranchland and farmland, major river systems, and abundant natural resources. Water, agriculture, energy production, tourism, outdoor recreation, and public lands all play a central role in the economy and way of life across the district.

Communities across CO-03 are connected by a strong tradition of independence, hard work, and stewardship of the land and natural resources that sustain rural Colorado.

From the San Juan Mountains and the Western Slope to the Arkansas Valley and the high desert of Northwest Colorado, the district reflects both the opportunities and challenges facing the modern American West.
