Hurd Votes to Create Jobs and Invest in American Manufacturers

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Jeff Hurd (CO-03) voted to pass H.R.33, United States-Taiwan Expedited Double-Tax Relief Act, which encourages Taiwan to provide reciprocal tax benefits to U.S. citizens.

“Relying on China puts our national security at serious risk, something we can no longer afford,” said Rep. Hurd.This legislation will help create jobs and support American manufacturers. Deepening our economic relationship with Taiwan benefits American workers and businesses, which support $1.5 billion in U.S. exports. This will help us strengthen our relationship with other countries, instead of the Chinese Communist Party.”
